This match was a mid table clash and it saw shanklin trying to get revenge for the 6-2 lose a few weeks ago. And shanklin started the brighter side and took the lead through dean white and then a couple of minutes later and 2nd goal for shanklin this time from luke harper saw shanklin lead 2-0 and they looked in complete control until 7 minutes before half time and wroxall shot took a deflection and the shanklin keeper could not stop the ball from going into the back of the net but it should of been saved really so at half time the score was 2-1 shanklin and thats how it finish. The second half saw end to end stuff with and shanklin should of put the game to bed 4 or 5 times but some poor finishing and good goalkeeping mad that wroxall was still in the game but wroxall didnt have a shot on target in the second half and it meant the shanklin took all 3 points from this game and without doubt deserved it.
